Grady "Leon" Jones

Grady Leon Jones, age 82 of Hendersonville, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018.

Leon was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Retired from Ingram Materials, he was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hendersonville and enjoyed working in the yard.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Grady Jones and Launa Yates; and daughter-in-law, Karen Jones. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Loretta; his children, Chris Jones and Velvet Morgan (Gregory); grandchildren, Johnathan Jones and Jasmine Morgan; and sisters, Joy Buttrey and Sue Hufham.

Visitation will be from 9:00am until his Celebration of Life service at 1:00pm on Friday, December 7, at Austin and Bell Funeral Home, Hendersonville with Pastors Don Hutchinson and Randy Goodman officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will include First United Methodist of Hendersonville, Ingram Materials, Jerry Newman, Mike Templeton, Joe Leffelman, Brad Henderson, David Palmer, Geord Methodist Church, and former members of Bordeaux United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Johnathan Jones, Greg Morgan, Craig Wright, Mike Bohleber, Jack Madden, Rusty Blevinf, Bo Yates, Mike Hall, and Jimmy Orand serving as active pallbearers.
