Frank Woodard, age 76, of Goodlettsville passed away January 29, 2022. Frank was born on April 2, 1945 in Gallatin, Tennessee to the late Douglas and Iris Woodard. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Woodard and John Woodard. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Shirley Bollinger Woodard; daughter, Rosilan Hale; several grandchildren; sister, Kay Lauper; and several nieces and nephews. Family members will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Mr. Agee’s Sunday School Class at Trinity Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside (formerly Austin & Bell, Hendersonville) with Joe Martin and Lloyd Johnson officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Greenbrier Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. and Thursday one hour prior to the service. Frank was a Deacon at Trinity Baptist Church in Hendersonville; he was a member of the McWhirtersville Masonic Lodge #375 in Donelson and the Al Menah Shrine Temple. He was a longtime employee of Gaylord Entertainment where he retired after more than 40 years of service as the Directory of Security for Opryland USA, The Opry House, and Opryland Hotel.
