Eleanor Joan Searles

August 31, 1924 — February 7, 2018

Eleanor Joan Searles, age 93 of Hendersonville, passed away at home on February 7, 2018. She was a loving mother and grandmother; and was a warm, loving, and caring person to all who knew her. She was a Bridge Master, and loved bowling, gardening, swimming and outdoor activities. And, she loved to travel.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry S. Searles; and a son, Raymond Searles. She is survived by her sons, Stephen E. Searles and Ronald (Karen) Searles; and her granddaughter, Razi (Keith) Wilson.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 11, from 2-4pm with a Rosary service beginning at 3:30pm at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville. A graveside service will be on Monday, February 12, at 11:00am at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow the interment Monday, February 12, at 1:00pm at Our Lady of The Lake Church in Hendersonville with Father Eric Fowlkes officiating.
