Edward Thomas Saunders

Edward Thomas Saunders, age 89 of Hendersonville, TN passed away March 6, 2022. He was born January 31, 1933 to Joseph William and Florence Elizabeth Boone Saunders. Mr. Saunders lived in the Saundersville area of Sumner County and graduated from Hendersonville High School in 1951.
Mr. Saunders is survived by his daughter; Debra (Don) McCloud; sons, Joe (Sara) Saunders, and Thomas "Chuck" (Beth) Saunders; brother, Joe William (Ann) Saunders; grandchildren, Derrick (Jennifer) McCloud, Iris Saunders & Brielle Jamar; and great-grandchildren; Nola, Maddux and Luce McCloud.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Teresa Jane Saunders; granddaughter, Ella Faith Saunders; sisters, Elizabeth Saunders Smith and Virginia Saunders Mundy.
A celebration of Mr. Saunder’s life will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. in Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 3216 Long Hollow Pike, Hendersonville, TN 37075. Lunch and fellowship in the Christian Life Center at the Church will follow at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Sumner Humane Society, in honor of his love of animals, or to the charity of your choice.
