Edward Moister DesPrez

Edward Moister DesPrez, age 66, of Nashville, passed away suddenly on October 28, 2024. Born on March 9, 1958, in Ft. Defiance, Arizona, Ed was the cherished son of the late Roger and Patience DesPrez, and stepmother Patricia DesPrez.

In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Sarah DesPrez, and brother, Walter DesPrez.

Ed is survived by his devoted wife, Karla DesPrez, and his son, Joshua DesPrez. He also leaves behind his siblings: Eleanor DesPrez (Seth Hurwitz), Julie DesPrez (Wayne Killius), Roger DesPrez (Karen), and Patricia Longo (Ron).

Ed was known for his passion for music, his infectious energy on the dance floor, and his ability to light up any room he entered. A loyal friend and devoted family man, Ed was always ready to lend a helping hand. He wore his heart on his sleeve, showing boundless love and compassion for those around him. His genuine warmth and unwavering support left a lasting impact on all who knew and loved him.

Ed will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Larkspur Conservation, a serene natural burial ground nestled in the countryside of Sumner County. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date to honor his memory and the joy he brought to so many.
