E. Wesley Hawkins, II

E. Wesley Hawkins, II, age 51 of Hendersonville, passed away November 16, 2023 at his home. Wes was born in Austell, Georgia on February 15, 1972. He is preceded in death by his father, E. W. Hawkins; and grandparents, Wilton B. Carson, Jeanice Dunn Carson, J. W. Hawkins, and Eugenia Hawkins.

Survivors include his parents, Julie and David Reece; brothers, Jason Hawkins (Tiffany) and Philip Reece (Stacey); nieces and nephews, Danielle Reece, Kendall Self, Nathaniel Self, Carson Reece, Avery Reece, Aubree Reece, Kennedi Reece, McKenzie Gregory and Gabi Weber.

Wes was an avid fisherman and monster truck enthusiast; he enjoyed pro wrestling and football. Wes never met a stranger and loved talking to everyone. He was great with children and loved spending time with all his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed putting puzzles together and paint by number on his iPad. He never knew how to have a bad day and was always full of life.

A celebration of Wes’ life will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 5:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside with Pastor Jeff Gregory officiating.
