Doug Strong, age 38 of Bethpage, passed away July 18, 2020 at his home. He was born in Linton, Indiana on February 3, 1982 to Tena Sutton and the late Terry Strong. Doug will be remembered as everyone's best friend; he loved his family and children dearly. He enjoyed cooking, being with family and friends, and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Carolyn Strong, Mary Elizabeth Jackson; aunts, Linda Strong and Jackie Strong; cousin, Steve Strong; and faithful companions, Nipper and Wishbone. Doug is survived by fiance' and love of his life, Tiffany Anderson; children, Roman Strong, Vivian Phillips and Christen Phillips; grandson, Chandler Lovejoy; mother, Tena Sutton (Tim); sister, Brenda South (Kevin Watkins); brothers, Cody White (Bailee) and Brandon Strong; grandfather, Richard Jackson (Gloria); nieces and nephews, Kendra, Emily, Madison, Noah, Reighlyn, and Clay South, Trenton and Hudson White; aunt, Lisa Hoover; uncle, Craig Strong; and several extended family members and friends. A Celebration of Doug's Life will be held on Saturday, July 25th at 12:00 P.M. at CIL Church (formerly Church at Indian Lake), 1004 Drakes Creek Rd., Hendersonville, TN. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from one hour prior to the service. Due to current health guidelines, masks are suggested and social distancing will be observed with seating at the church.
