Donna Kathleen Ziegler Mcelroy

Donna Kathleen Ziegler McElroy, age 60 of Nashville, passed away September 7, 2020. Donna was born on December 6, 1959 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to the late Robert and Wanda Ziegler. She grew up in Kulpmont, Pennsylvania until she was 10 years old, then moved to Nashville and lived in surrounding areas until her passing. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and partner; she was strikingly beautiful inside and out and enjoyed the simple things in life; Donna was a model in her early twenties before marrying and becoming a full time homemaker. She loved the Lord, her family, and friends, nature, animals, music, books, butterflies, crosses, flowers, and gardening. Donna was a tremendous cook and baker, she had a contagious smile; she will be missed dearly until we see her again. Donna is survived by her sons, Andrew Hunter (Cherrie) and Ty Hunter (Kelsey); life partner, Brian Green; grandchildren, Jaylee, Kyler, Mia, and Ezra; siblings, Andy Ziegler, Sherry Ziegler, Chris Ziegler, and Gary Ziegler (Pam); as well as other relatives and family members. A memorial service honoring Donna will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, 1:00 P.M. at Henry Horton State Park in Chapel Hill, TN. Flowers may be sent to 3690 Warner Road, Lewisburg, TN 37091.
