Debra Ann Melton

Mrs. Debra Ann Melton age 61 of Gallatin passed away at her residence on Monday night, June 11, 2018.  She was born on January 9, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to James Nathaniel Stearns and Nora Bernice Lozenski.  She worked in retail sales.

Mrs. Melton was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Joseph Stearns and her brother-in-law, Ron Coleman.

She is survived by her husband, Arvle Melton, Jr. of Gallatin, two sons, Aubrey Smith III of Madison, TN, Jeramiah Smith of Nashville, TN; daughter, Jodi Smith of Lebanon, TN and step-daughter, Stephanie King of Madison, TN; sons-in-law, Delmar Smith Jr. of Lebanon, TN and Lee Tanner of Madison, TN; sister, Diana Coleman of Irving, TX and Janet Reiter of Festus, MO; brother-in-law, Wayne Reiter of Festus, MO; eight grandchildren, Austan King, Kayemen King, Stormie Tanner, Kayla Smith, Taylor Smith, Luke Smith, Bella Smith and Nate Smith; two great-grandkids, Laynie King and Kayelynn King.

Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Mrs. Melton residence at 139 Shawn Dr. in Gallatin.  The celebration will begin at 2 PM.
