David “Danny” Roger Choate, 64, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, in Portland, TN.
David Choate was born on February 19, 1957, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Robert Choate and Agnes Choate. David was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, uncle, and brother. He was an avid fisherman and will be missed by many.
In addition to his mother, David is survived by his wife of 46 years, Deborah Choate; children, Crystal (Terry) Wright, Shane (Savannah) Choate, Daniel (Kayla) Choate; grandchildren, Michaela Carpinet, Zachery Choate, Willow Choate; siblings, Pamela Slack, Sarah (Russell) Bond, Christopher Choate, Quinton Choate; he was also blessed with several nieces and nephews.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life at Bledsoe Creek State Park at a yet to be determined date.
