David John Crowe, Sr.

David John Crowe, Sr., age 48 of Gallatin, passed away August 28, 2020. David was born in Miami, Florida on September 22, 1971. He was an alum of Miami Southwest High School. David went on to get his Bachelor’s Degree from East Tennessee State University where he double majored in Economics and Philosophy of Religion Studies. His dream was to become a History or Economics teacher before becoming ill. David had many passions such as studying History and his Bible, but his favorite passions were coaching his children in baseball and football. David will be loved and missed by his wife of 28 years, Nancy Crowe; sons, David J. Crowe, Jr. and Joshua Crowe; daughter, Hayley Crowe; twin brother, John Crowe; brothers, Dale Shively and Scott Shively; sisters, Kim McNamara and Marylou Reardon; several nieces and nephews; best friend and brother, Carlos Calzadilla. David was preceded in death by father, John C. Crowe; mother, Delyte Crowe; and sister, Lori Shively. In accordance with his wishes, David was cremated and no services will be held.
