Curtis Keathley “Keith” Covington age 80 passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was born in Nashville, TN on September 30, 1940 to the late Herbert Leroy and Jewel Odessa Covington.
Besides his parents Mr. Covington was preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Gordan Covington; and a sister, Wanda LaRue Summers.
Keith is survived by his sons, Tim (Julie) Covington, Steve (Amy) Covington, and Kevin (Pattie) Covington; grandchildren, Sydnie, Olivia, Eli and Zach.
Keith was a member of the Air National Guard after high school and worked for RC Cola for over 40 years in sales. After retiring, he drove a school bus in Robertson county. Keith enjoyed professional baseball; Atlanta Braves was his favorite team. Mr. Covington was a member of the Al Menah Shrine, Scottish Rites, and a member of the Greenbrier Masonic Lodge.
The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday, December 22, 2020 and again from 10:00am until 11:00am Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Austin and Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville. A Masonic Rites service will be conducted at 7:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ken Castleberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
