Christy Lynn Colbert

Christy Lynn Colbert, 48 lost her battle to cancer on June 23, 2023 in the home of her mother, Darlene Colbert.

Christy was born June 17, 1975 at Jesse Holmon Jones Hospital in Springfiled, TN. Christy is the daughter of surviving parents, Darlene Colbert and Jerry Colbert.

Christy made it to the 9th grade in high school, and began working at Sonic at the age of 15, and has stayed with sonic her whole life. Christy made many friendships in her life at sonic. she developed friendships, not just with her coworkers, but her customers as well. she loved her customers, and her customers loved her.

Christy was preceded in death by her sister, Tina Colbert Varsakelis.

Surviving in addition to her parents, Darlene and Jerry Colbert; are her daughters, Alexis and Michaela Varsakelis; and 4 grandchildren: Jordan, Kayleigh, Aiden Embrey and Zackary Browner; one sister, Tammy Colbert; and many nieces and nephews.

Christy's children and her grandchildren were her pride and joy, she would do anything she had to to make sure they all had everything that they needed. Christy brought joy everywhere that she went and she loved making memories through the gift of taking pictures.

There will be a memorial service on August 12th at 2-4p.m. at Free Indeed Fellowship located at 825 South Water Ave here in Gallatin, Tn 37066.
