Cheryl Galbreath

August 17, 1946 — March 19, 2023

Goodlettsville, Tennessee

Cheryl Galbreath, age 76 of Goodlettsville, passed away March 19, 2023 at her home. Cheryl was born on August 17, 1946 in Shelbyville, Indiana to the late Jim and Pearl Finley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, R. L. Jones; and her brother, Jimmy Finley.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Tom Galbreath; her sister, Donna Martin-Williams; her niece who was a daughter to her, Kim Tice (Richard); several nieces and nephews; children, Christine Jernigan (Steve), Tom Galbreath, Jr. (Susan) and Jay Galbreath (Candi); and 9 grandchildren.

Cheryl was a lady of many talents and hobbies, but her favorite was decorating (and redecorating). She enjoyed painting until her body would not let her hold a brush. Cheryl loved to shop with anyone at anytime; her best asset was her ability to talk freely with family, friends and even total strangers! Cheryl’s passing has left a hole in many people’s lives, she will be deeply missed.

A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held on April 10, 2023 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Sand Trap at Twelve Stones Crossing.

In honor and memory of Cheryl, be kind to one another.
