Charline Martin

Charline Martin, age 89 of Hendersonville, passed away September 3, 2023. Charline was born on March 4, 1934 in Goodlettsville, Tennessee to the late Charlie and Ruby Bagsby.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, William Howard Martin; daughter, Cindy Troutt; great-grandchild, Dynasty Parks; and brother, Ed Davenport.  

She is survived by her son, Tony Martin and his girlfriend, Annette Rudolph; grandchildren, David Troutt and his fiancé; Kim Davenport, Tonya Troutt, Alex Martin, Hannah Martin, Sarah Beth Rudolph, and Miranda Rudolph; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Karleigh, Kolton and Kamryn Troutt, Destiny and Dylan Parks, and Kyra Troutt; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews also survive.

Charline was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 8, 2023 from the Chapel of Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside with Pastor Roger Thaxton officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. and on Friday for one hour prior to the service.
