Charles "Chuck" William Whitton

Charles W. “Chuck” Whitton, age 74 of Nunnelly, TN passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021. He was born in Menominee, MI to the late Richard and Ardella Gustafson Whitton. He served four years in the Coast Guard from 1965 to 1969 and in the Reserves. He attended Auto Tech School in Dickson, TN and was also an inventor, putting his math computers to work. He is survived by his two sisters, Carole Whitton of Nashville, TN and Marlea Whitton of Hendersonville, TN; two nephews, Michael and Paul Whitton; four nieces, Alicia Joseph Deutsch, Justine McCormick, Cheryl Beursmeyer and Laura Joseph. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald Whitton in 2018. His family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until his Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Austin and Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville.
