Brenda Kay Kendall, 61, of Gallatin lost her year long battle with cancer on June 11, 2021.
Brenda was born in Decatur, IL on August 4, 1959 to the late Richard Alvin Jackson, Jr. and Lois Jackson. She is survived by her daughters, Amber Earls (Kevin) of Hendersonville and Hillary Lee of Lebanon; 2 grandchildren, Jordan Spicer (Declan) of Ooltewah and Jackson Earls of Hendersonville; her siblings, Rick Jackson of California and Angie Pearson of Illinois; several nieces and nephews as well as her significant other of many years, Don Savage of Gallatin.
For the last several years, Brenda was blessed to have a job she loved (prior to her cancer diagnosis) of which she worked as a caretaker for adults with disabilities. It was with this position that she met many of her cherished friends who helped and supported her throughout her battle with cancer.
Brenda’s hobbies included gardening, working word puzzles, crafting, watching haunted TV shows and spending time with her grand (and great grand) pups.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
