Billie Ruth Shates Roseberry, age 88 of Hendersonville, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019.
She was a funny and loving wife, mother, granny, and sister who loved playing jokes on her family. She loved doing Snapchat with her granddaughter, Carrie. She was a devoted wife who loved the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Roseberry, her parents, Bill & Lavina Howse; a sister, Delores Howse, a son-in-law, Dicky Wall; and a stepson, Dennis Roseberry.
Billie is survived by her son, Steve (Mindy) Shates; her daughters, Terri (Scott) Anderson and Tracie Wall; her stepchildren, Darren (Marie) Roseberry, Kim (Larry) Bevel, and David Roseberry; her brother, Gary (Jean) Howse; grandchildren, Carrie (Chase) Fowler, Ben (Stephanie) Wall, Addie (Clint) James, Rusty Bevel, Chastity (Tony) Powell, Connie (Ricky) Boone, Sharon Young, Naz (Alicia) Roseberry, Jada and Devinie Roseberry; and her great-grandchildren, Chance, Aliah, Olivia, Ethan, Declan, Brennen, Geralyn, Nora, Christine, Robert, Austin, Chase, Elizabeth (Izzy), Jennifer, Brian, Will, N.J., Isiah, and Easton.
Her family will receive friends on Saturday, September 28, from 12:00pm until her Celebration of Life Service at 2:00pm at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens with Chase and Chance Fowler, Darren Roseberry, Louis Washburn, Ben Wall, and Clint James serving as pallbearers.
