Barbara Dutcher

Barbara Coons Dutcher age 70 of Portland passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin.  She was born in Amsterdam, New York on April 25, 1947 to Robert and Laura Horning Coons.  She was a child care worker. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Arnold Smith of Portland; sons, Garrett (Karen) Fosmire,  Josh (Amanda) Dutcher and Terry Smith all of Portland; daughters, Chyra (John) Henley of Hartsville, Stephanie Smith, Shannon Smith, Samantha Hence all of Portland; brother, Robert Coons Jr. of New York and step-mother, Margaret Coons.  14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive. No services are planned at this time. Sumner County Funeral and Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.  615-452-9059
