Alva William "Pete" Boswell

Alva William “Pete” Boswell, age 82 of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at home with his family.
Pete was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid fly fisherman and hunter. He was heavily involved in coaching men’s and women’s softball. He was a past president of: the Hendersonville and Gallatin Shrine Clubs and the Gallatin Gun Club. He was a long time member of the Hendersonville Masonic Lodge #359 F+AM and Al Menah Shrine.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Helen Boswell; brother, Jimmy Boswell; and sister, Ann Croucher.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol Boswell; son, Peter John (Sally) Boswell; daughter, Beth Carol Boswell; sister, Sarah (John) Matlock; grandchildren, Lauren McKenzie Boswell, Andrew Neyland Boswell, Hunter Summitt Boswell; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service with Masonic Services at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17th, 2019 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville.
