Alice Faye Flippen

It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Faye Anderson Flippen, who departed this world peacefully in her home. She was an amazing person who will be missed by her family and friends. 

In her life she accomplished so many different extraordinary tasks, she was a published author and loved to take time to journal about life events. She was a talented and avid crafter, making beautiful and fun yard art. She quilted many beautiful quilts and was an amazing seamstress. She enjoyed bird watching with her very loved and spoiled cat precious.. Mother was a graduate of 1960 graduating class of Norcross high school, Norcross Georgia.

Mother was predeceased by her husband Robert Flippen, who she loved deeply. She leaves behind her four children: "Diannah" Lynne Williams, Lou (William) Osburn, Evlyn Leigh Truman and Clifton R. Mahon. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Christina Russell (Forrest Greene), Ricky Jones, Jessica Biggs, Shane Jarrell, Kaylalyn (Nathan) Parkison, Michael Osburn, Alexandria Osburn, Jean Marie Mahon, and Simon Mahon; and five great-grandchildren, Jayden Ellis, Peyton Ellis, Brayden Batts, Forrest Greene, and Emberly Greene.

A celebration of life service will be held on August 3rd, 2024 for all the lives that she touched. Details to be announced on this page when available.
